Ski-in, ski-out hotels
Like all European resorts that have grown organically over centuries, Zermatt has very few ski-in, ski-out hotels.We have put together a list of those that can be called ski-in, ski-out below. Please note that only the Cervo Mountain Boutique Resort has convenient walking access to the village. All the others in the list are located high on the slopes above Zermatt, accessible only by mountain lifts. So what you miss in access to village nightlife, you gain in peace and quiet, spectacular sunrises, sunsets and brilliant night skies. The Gornergrat Kulm hotel is actually the highest hotel in the alps at 3100m/10,200ft, where the Milky Way and planets are visible to the naked eye.
