The Hotel Mont Cervin is a traditional deluxe alpine resort and longstanding member of the Leading Hotels of the World. The hotel was opened in 1851 and taken over by Alexander Seiler in 1855. Since then it has been acknowledged as the flag ship of the Seiler Group. Over the years the property has been completely renovated. In 1994 the Residence, located opposite the hotel, was opened with 15 state-of-the-art deluxe suites.

Location

Located right in the centre of the automobile free mountain village Zermatt, 5 minutes' walk from the railway station. Sports and souvenirs shops, hairdresser, ski school and mountain guide office are nearby. Mountain railways and cable cars can easily be reached within walking distance.

Rooms & Apartments

The rooms are elegantly furnished yet retain a cosy, intimate feeling. The hotel counts a total of 264 beds and 139 rooms. 22 single rooms , 79 twin and queen size bedded rooms, 16 junior suites, 12 senior suites, 9 suites with one to three bedrooms, and 14 residence-apartments. All rooms and suites are equipped with bath or shower, multi lingual cable TV, hair drier, safety deposit box, mini bar, direct dial telephone. Most of the rooms have balcony or terrace and some are equipped with Jacuzzi, fire place, private sauna and kitchenette.

Sport & Leisure

Heated indoor swimming pool (20x8 m), solarium, massage and free sauna, steam bath, fitness room, sun patio. In-house ski men for ski and boot hire or ski repairs (Winter only). Nearby are tennis courts, curling, mountain biking, all year round skiing, cross country ski, helicopter flights, heli-ski, scenic walks, mountain walks, glacier crossings, paragliding, wine tastings, excursions for skiers and non-skiers. Ski teachers and mountain guides are available through the hotel.

Children & Family Plan

Kindergarden at our Hotel Nicoletta during Winter season. Babysitters on request. Cots, high-chairs, early meals and children's menus are available. Special rates for children occupying the same room as parents. Children ski school during Winter season and free skipass until 9 years.

Arrival & Car Park

Zermatt is a motor car free resort. Public car parks and garages are located in the village of Täsch, from where a shuttle train connects Zermatt every 20 minutes (travel time 10 minutes). From the public car parks the resort can also be reached by taxi.
Limousine or Helicopter transfer from Geneva, Zurich and Sion Airport can be arranged through our Concierge.
